Most instructors will require you to create documents (a composition paper) in a word processing program (Microsoft Word) on your computer and then save the file on your computer (typically in My Documents). For more information about saving documents, please view the Saving Assignment Documents page. Once the file has been saved on your computer, you will upload and submit the document to an assignment page in Canvas. It is important to review ALL of the instructor's directions for each assignment page before submitting your assignment. Click on an Assignment title to view the details of the assignment. (1) On graded assignments the due date along with other important information will display under the title. The instructor may require documents submitted within a certain time frame or the files you submit must be a certain file types (ex. doc, docx). Review what is allowed. (2) Click on Submit Assignment.
