One of the great things about Canvas is that rich content editor is available just about everywhere in Canvas. You will use the rich content editor when you create discussions replies. In some cases you may also be using the rich content editor when creating assignments or completing quizzes as well as in groups where students can create pages and announcements. One feature of the rich content editor is the ability to create and embed video or audio recordings directly in content in the course and discussion postings. Some of your instructors may use this feature to make their course content more personal. You can use this feature as well. The tutorial below shows you how to use the editor.
The new announcement will appear in edit mode. (1) Give the new announcement a title. (2) Add a description in the text box. Use the rich content editor toolbar and right sidebar to add content. (3) Click Save when done. For more details about student groups, visit the Student Assignment Groups page.
