How to Add... Modules

Modules are a great to use when building a course in Canvas.  Think of a module as a folder than can hold a unit or topic.  Within the module, you can add any items available in Canvas such as files, content pages, quizzes, discussion boards and more.  Modules are a great tool to use for several reasons.  First, modules become a one stop shop for students to find all information.  They don't have ask where you posted items because they know the answer is always modules.  Second, you can use the module to direct students through information in a specific order even keeping things locked until certain tasks are completed.  Last, modules can be shared to the Commons and are a great way to share whole units with other teachers.
